Do all youngsters "cling" when they are being led?.... its nothing nasty but I lead the youngster today.... she was very good as I am still on crutches, but I just noticed she trys to snuggle into you.... now that could be because she was worried by the noise of the sticks...and maybe i was much more aware of things than normal - its been my first day doing anything with her since she broke my leg - so I have a stupid grin on my face, as I was worried that I would be scared of her, especially as I have a long way to go before i am healed.

We got half way from the field to the stable - all on our own = then hubby came back to led her up from the field and I got a right telling off for not waiting - but it was worth it :)

My mare didn't when she was a baby but my pony did when I got her as a 10 year old, she wasn't very confident and hadn't ever done anything other than run wild then be a field ornament so would have been at the same level of experience as a youngster.
