Clip growing in??

My pony was clipped on the 19th, so 10 days ago and her coat has grown REALLY fast, its almost like her summer coat and you can hardly see the leg line anymore:s shes rugged up really well and shes always cosy when i check on her late at night. does this happen to anyone else? how long does your clip last?

this often happens if your horse has not changd coats yet. you need to let them get woolie or you have to clip more often

I also clipped my girl on the 19th and today noticed that some of the lines are disappearing. I quite enjoyed clipping her, so won't mind having to do it again. At least it won't be so fluffy everywhere. One of her friends was clipped on 17th and he's even hairier!

there is a difference between hairy and woolie, hairy is long thin hairy coat, woolie has an extra winter undercoat layer and if the undercoat is not there when you first clip you will have to clip again sooner

Thanks we are gonna clip her again during november and hopefully that will be her till the spring clip...
