Clip or no clip?

Got a welsh a mare whos VERY hairy

I lunge her everyday but im finding it so difficult to cool her down, i was thinking of a bib clip.
I cant work out whether to go for it. She cant be comforatable sweating up all the time

But shes non ridden even tho shes lunged everyday

I would try a bib. That way she will cool down quicker.

I'd go for a bib or a gullet clip and see how she goes, just because she isn't ridden doesn't mean she can't be clipped. If she is sweating up while being lunged she could catch a chill as she will get cold having a wet coat.

Yes, if she is getting sweaty i would give her a bib clip

Start with a bib. You can always take more off if she's still sweating quite a bit.

Clip! I did a chaser on my cob and hes still sweating so going to take more off...start with a bib and see how you get on. You can always take more off but you cant stick it back on again!

if she is in at night and rugged then def give her a shave. Just a bit at first and you can always take more off it need be!
