In about 6 weeks I will need to clip my mare, and I'm stuck for ideas. Was thinking of doing a stifle to wither kind of thing, as I'm not sure how keen she will be on letting us clip her back legs too much. Any one have any interesting variations/photos? She lives out 24/7, and will be coming back into work and being work 6 days a week schooling/hacking up to two hours (hacking, not schooling!). She's a horse that winds herself up out hacking, so sweats heaps, and when she gets excited. She'll also be hunter clipped come the start of spring to get rid of her winter coat in one go instead of the two or three months of 'snow' from her great grey-ness. I've got a massive collection of rugs, so keeping her warm won't be a problem, and even though it gets cold here, it doesn't get too cold.
