p.s. for anyone believing in 'fate'... it turns out he lives next door to a house we viewed last month.... and myself and my non-horsey OH both commented on the lovely little shetland that lived next door... that was him...

p.p.s. the house is more than an hour away from us, so that's quite a coincidence...
