Now there's a thought - the only decision to be made is whether to use orange or blue baler twine...

ahem....

i'm here. i'm not having the baby... however, i suspect i am having a breakdown of some sort...

STILL NOT EXCHANGED.

don't even ask... i'm seriously unimpressed.

finally though, people (my husband, mum, solicitor, estate agent) are starting to listen to me and agree that this shouldn't be happening.. .and now everyone agrees that we should pull out if it doesn't go through tomorrow.

completion is set for a week tomorrow... and i REFUSE to delay this because i'm having a baby a week later... which i'm having to have via caesarean... so can't move house for a good few weeks after that. so, time is seriously running out for exchange...

if we pull out, we may well lose our lovely house that we have found. but, we ADORE the one we're in now. it's just we haven't got the land. so it's not a huge problem really. at least we'll know where i'll be having the baby and which school my son will be at next week!

Don't know if it's any help, but we exchanged and completed on the same day on one house (was a few years ago now).

hmm, i've heard this can happen. i don't think my nerves will stand it though! and also we need to book lorry etc.
i wouldn't mind if there were legitimate things holding it up... but it's silly little things, and my buyer has held the threat of pulling out over our head since the day we accepted the offer.
