I've just inherited a set of clippers. They've hardly been used, but look a little rusty. I'm in the process of trying to locate some cleaning fluid, but don't actually have a clue how to clean them!

"try WD40" Please dont!!!! it KILLS CLIPPERS!!!!

When you say you want to clean some clippers, do you mean clean a set of blades or a clipper? If you want to clean the blades, use a toothbrush and some surgical spirit, clean all the grease and hair off them, then spray with clipper oil and wrap in an oiled J cloth. This will help them stay corrosion free. If they are very rusty, they might be no good. If unsure, pm me with the make of blade/clipper and I will advise further.

regards

Ian
