Clipper advice

I brought my first set of clippers last year. As the new clipping season approaches I'm starting to wonder how often do you need to service them? The blades I'm getting sharpened soon. The manual also doesn't really state a time length. I have Lister stars.

depends how often you are clipping, what sort of coat, if the coat is clean and how much you are clipping off.

i always have at least 3xblades, and asi only clipped one last year i have not had them serviced but i would get them serviced after 10-15 clips or normally at the end of the winter get them serviced and pack them away till next year

I did 3 clips plus a summer of hogging and de feathering. I also have 2 blades. Coat wasn't too thick but mane was. Coat always clean
