Clipper blades

Hey everyone

So i bought a set of masterclip clippers which are good and clipped my horse just over a week ago. They come with medium blades which leave 3mm of hair, but wondered what blades everyone else uses, if you use fine ones which leave 1mm or medium etc. Looks like she will be clipped quite a bit this year with the medium blades.

I use medium otherwise I look like I have skinned my mare! A hunter clip in mediums does just right and I usually clip twice. I found that fine blades are less accomadating of lines and crap clipping too - I am awful at clipping but really want it to look nice so it was an important aspect for me!

I use fine blades with mine to reduce the amount of clips i have to do!
