hi does anyone know where to get clipper blades sharpened in huddersfield or nearby

I sent mine off to shear ease, and they sharpen them and post them back return of post.

Clipper Sharp in Devon are fab. I sent my clippers and blades off to be serviced and have had them back in brand spanking order less than 2 weeks later!!!

On a similar note, does anyone know where to purchase new blades from? ANd what do you recommend for clipping - the fine ones? Or something else?

I got a spare set of blades from shear ease as well. I've got heiniger clippers, and got the medium blades as I've got hairy hairy horses.

Also try UK Clippers (www.dclhuk.com). I have used them to buy new blades and also to sharpen. Next day service if you pay by credit card or PayPal. So far can't fault them.
