buying a new set of clippers. (old trainer got me my old one's so i have no idea what im looking for!)

ive spotted a nice set on ebay and wanted to know if they are up to doing a few full clips?? would a 120 watt, 80mm width heavy duty do the job?

thank you!!!!

The danger with buying second hand clippers, without a guarantee is that they could be knackered, so my advice would always be - be very wary of buying something like this, unless they can give you a guarantee of some sort, or don't pay a lot of money for them...

I bought my wolseley harriers 13 years ago second hand and they are still going strong now!! So buying second hand can work out!! But I'll admit it's a gamble, if you can't afford new and need to buy used go for a well known make that is likely to last.

be very very careful if they are an unknown make - probably imported from somewhere strange and electrocute yourself or horsey or both! (and pack up fairly quickly)

Guess it would depend if you are trying to clip a woolly mammoth like mine!
