Clipper help? :)

Hi guys,

Just purchasing my first pair of clippers - it will be used only for hogging and removing feathers off my shire x,who has a fairly thick mane.

Im not sure what ones to buy,what the best make is,and obviously ones that can do the job,at a good price!

What does everyone else use? What ones would you recommend?

I have the Hauptner 2000 clipper and I love it, it's not too noisy and is quite slim so fits in my small hand. My mare is a warmblood x welsh d, so does have a bit of feather and I trim this with my Element trimmers.

I have Lister Neons which are great for my hogged cob.

Sounds like you probably want coarse blades for your particular job. If u go to a good retailer they will supply with blade of your choice so request these when you buy. I like my cordless Lister Liberty.
