Yes I did email and then got a messgae saying they would decide when she gets back from holiday on the 29th. I haven't heard anything and was just wondering if anyone else had.

Don't mind as long as it can safely carry 2 big horses and can be driven on a car licence (and is not too expensive to buy, run and insure)

Safely is one question, legally is another.
It would IMO have to have a max kerb weight of 2000 kg to stay under the 3.5 tonne limit when loaded.
My LWB Pajero weighs 2400kg so I think you are being optomistic in your request.
Overweight = no insurance cover in the event of an accident
