im getting some money soon and im looking to buy some clippers. ive never bought clippers before so would like recommendations for quality and easy to use. need to be cordless/battery operated as no electricity at yard
thanks

My liveryman element cordless trimmers that I bought new for 70 quid have just managed a chaser clip on a native pony with ease... I'm very pleased.

I've had my cordless Lister Liberty about a year and recommend them. Long battery life and do a lovely job. Bought them to replace Lister Neon as no longer had regular access to power. Also use cordless trimmers Lister Meteor which are good.

I have liveryman harmony cordless clippers. They are small, quiet amd lightweight.i love them and thy easily manage to fully clip my welsh d mare :)

Carherinem is right, I have harmony and they have been fantastic for around 4 years but the motor is starting to give up now. They're not the most powerful so clipping is very slow, I didn't have the battery but a friend said they are even slower with it. That said they are rally quiet, light and leave barely any lines. The snap on blades are great for beginners also
I recently used Wahl avalon and they were fantastic, I'm going to buy some next month replace my harmony's.
make sure you look up how much replacement blades are when picking your clippers! :)

For a cheaper alternative to the 'known' brands, google Masterclip and have a look at their Royale clippers- cordless, lightweight and exceptionally quiet and have done a fantastic job on my boy. UK based company too- and couldn't be more friendly and helpful!
