As title. My old and faithful Heinigers have a broken spring and Heiniger do not know if/when they will be able to source the part so looking at other options. Budget of about £300.
Any recommendations?

How much clipping do you need to do? I’ve seen many buying big, strong (and expensive) clippers when they actually only clip their own horse a few times during winter. I think the money could be used wiser.

I have a lister star and am very happy with it. Does a nice clip, is not too heavy and I find the blades go a long way before they need sharpening. I do clip other horses than my own, but usually only go through 2 sets each season. And the clipper is handy enough to do legs, details etc.

I clip as a profession and average at 70 clips per season so they need to be heavy duty!
