clipper recommendations?

going to treat myself to a set of clippers, bored of having to ask other people, its about time i got my own! had 2 horses and never clipped either of them myself! :o

so can anyone recommend a good buy? is there a particular brand i should stay away from?

also, how often would blades need replacing etc?

Liberty by Lister - the battery pack gave up after three seasons, but now have an electric converter - do an average of 4 horses (full hunter clip) 2-3 times per season, give them a full service (clippers, not horses) every 2-3 years. Light, quiet, but well up to the job. I have had them circa 7 - 8 years now.
