I have a set of Liveryman Mustangs, about 13 years old, and they are making a bit of a noise this year (well, more noise than normal, they are quite loud anyway!). I think the bearings may be on the way out, so, I'm sure they must be repairable.
Can anybody give me an idea of costs, or, recommendations for companies to try?
They are fabulous clippers, although I haven't used them for over 2 years (nothing to clip until this year!). I've also got Premier's, they're good enough (and lighter!) but it does take longer to clip with them.
Thanks in advance

i have used "clippersharp" in devon several times for service of clippers + blade sharpening & my mum bought a set of new clippers from them & always find them very helpfull & excellent service.they have a website if you want to contact them:)

Clipper servicing will generally cost you about £35 plus some kind of postage.

This is the best place to get your clippers serviced. Agrihealth own the Liveryman brand.

We never use Agrihealth for their service so I'm not sure if they have a special address for servicing but that should get you started anyway.

If you wanted a mainland based firm there are companies like Shear Ease, Clippersharp, Alan Talbot and HG Clippers, all of which have a good reputation to the best of my knowledge!

I cant see where you are based but if a local firm is avavailable I would choose them as you cut out postage cost which will be about £15-£20 both ways for a mustang clipper.

Sorry no specifics but I hope that helps!
