After having mine stolen at the weekend

I need to replace asap. I loved mine which were Heinigers, but may look at getting something a bit more powerful as I seem to be clipping constantly!! So any recommendations and good sites very much appreciated

i'd stay faithful to the heinigers, mine are 10yrs and still going strong!!!

equestrian clearance is quite good for bargains, i usually find a price online then go into my saddlers and see if they can do any better, you have to try!!!

Oh what a pain, were yours insured? I have Liveryman Mustangs, I clip a few for other people as well as mine, so I would say I clip at least once a week Oct-March, and all the legs and fiddley bits in summertime. They are hardwearing, 10years old now and through combination of mine and mother's ignorance have only been serviced once, and still run like clockwork

They will prob be dumped anyway, but i have several "clients" at the yard that I could do with keeping hold of, hence need to replace quickly!! Are the mustangs quiet?

Lister star and lasers. the star are medium load but very light, small hand grip and quiet. i did 300 odd horses before mine gave up. now using lister lasers, very heavy duty, heavier but very smooth operating - just got 10 horses done in 1 set of blades!!
I always use clippersharp in cullompton in devon, couldn't find lister clippers cheaper anywhere else. they also stock loads of other brands and grooming stuff!
good for blade shapening and servicing, very helpful!
hope this helps

Yup, I would vote for the 3000c's too.

I had mine from Peasridge. They were on offer at the time at just £220 with two sets of blades.
