Clippers...recommendations please :o)

I am in need of advice!

Any recommendations on clippers? Am looking for something to hog and clip out my Welsh cross mares legs and face all year round, then full clips in the hairy season, along with blanket clips on 2/3 others on the yard. What makes / models do people recommend??

I am happy to spend up to £300 as ideally want something that will last years. Mains powered is fine.

I have several pair of clippers - a wahl avalon, and a liveryman harmony, neither of which would be big enough to hog a hairy... but the wolseley swifts would be perfect. I do full hunter clips and trim hairy legs (horses, not mine! :O ) with them and they just slide through the coats with no bother at all.

Thanks! I'll have a look for a bargain, does your horse have vitaligo? I suffer also and recognised the pattern x

yes, he does, and you're the first person ever to recognise it (apart from my vet!)

it started about 7 or 8 years ago now - he'll be 21 this time round. makes him quite striking doesn't it?
