Need something to get Mr M used to my other scary pair of mains clippers, so I just need a light duty pair that can cope with a bib/low trace clip, now wires so re-chargeable cordless ones and that are reasonably priced?

Liveryman Harmony clippers, cordless are about £150 (some on offer on clippersharp eBay I think. ) They have had good reviews on here, 3 hrs running time, not great if your horse has a really thick coat, can also be mains clippers.

that was me that said the avalons and harmonys are basiacally the same.

they are manufactured by the same company, and then 'dressed and packaged' by different people, resulting in two identicle clippers with different badges.

Love them both. Both quiet and easy to use (no tensioning blades or anything). battery life is good, and the mains versions don't seem to get hot.
