I have some Liveryman Arena Plus clippers that ive probably done less than 10 clips with. I found that they pull on the horses coat even with fully sharpened blades and a service! Im not impressed at all. Ive played around with the blade tension etc but nothing sems to make a difference. Also i find they viabrate far too much for my liking. So i have a small budget to get some new ones as i have a new youngster thats never been clipped before and she is very sensitive. Also she is getting so hairy and sweaty already that i need to clip her asap but dont want to use my existing and upset her. So any suggestions on a set? They dont need to be heavy duty, i have 3 horses but clip them max twice a year, all have nice clean coats not too thick. I was looking at a battery type clipper as these seem to be the quietest and lots of people seem to rate the liveryman harmony. What do you all recommend/suggest??? I think it might be an ebay job for some 2nd hand ones
