My liveryman arena have lasted 12 years and worth the money! these have just set me back £230 but if they last 12 years, ive def got my monies worth.

I have the Premier 3000c!!!! They are FAB! And they are heavy duty ones, but the same price as medium duty ones. They are quite quiet but also powerful. You can also use Lister blades on them.

I got mine from Farmcare UK, which is a really good company.

Wolseley Swift.... they have been around for years & have altered very little. They are robust, run quietly & seem to last for ever. Replacement blades aren't the most expensive either. Good value & reliable.

I've gt the big Wloseley (which are nosier) but can't remember model name - they are 13yo this year and have been brilliant - used to do 4 full clips a day with them and never overheat - they are having a quiet retirement though as only 2 horses at home (not on yard any more) so do 1 full clip every 3 weeks and 2 blanket clips a year.

I have the Heiniger Delta 3 clippers and got them at a knockdown price (about £135 I think

) as they'd been sitting in the shop for a while

They are 3 speed too so can be very quiet when needed. Only slight downside is that they are quite bulky.....but then i'm a bloke and therefore wellhard
