Just wondering has anyone ever used other clippers on their horse other than the ones ment for horses say dog or human and did they work..

no, but a girl on a friends yard did!! oh dear, poor pony looked like he had had an argument with a lawn mower and the mower had won!!! was a tb type with not much coat, clippers gave up about half way through and hadnt done a good job of what they had clipped, but the girl had never clipped before either, ended up having to get my friend to try to make pony look ok after, but didnt look right till his coat had grown and he was re clipped

Believe it or not I love my wolseley clippers which are designed for the horse, i brought some lister neons to di fiddly bits ears head etc, and i have not been that impressed, however my friend has a pair of babyliss ckippers she paid a £1 for from the carboot sale and they are amazing quiet clip brilliantly lovely finish but i wouldn't use them on the whole body they are to small but amazing clippers
