Clippers

I am wanting to buy a new set of clippers. Will be doing a fair bit of clipping especially on very hairy connemaras and cobs. Which clippers do people recommend? TIA

I had lister liberties - disaster. Useless within 2 years despite going back to lister themselves for a service and buying additional power cable etc.

Now got Heineger Xperience which I got because I saw my friend effortlessly clipping her cob with them. I'm really please with them for my cobs.

I have liveryman harmony which are nice and quiet (slightly louder since I dropped them on the floor :s) they have held up pretty well and have a battery with more than enough time to clip, or work off the mains if you want. I wouldn't recommend them for the VERY hairy though! I did a full clip on a shetland and they had a 'hair jam' way too many times!

I have Lister Laser's - I clip all year round and clippersharp did have them discounted very recently

I have the heiniger progress, lovely clippers had 10 years just hunting down some blades for this years clip. Nice and quiet

I have the heiniger xplorer cordless clippers and they are brilliant. Effortlessly clip my big 16.2 gelding on a single charge.
