hi, im after recommendations on horse clippers, i will want to clip my very thick coated shetland this winter and in the fuyure i may want to clip my gypsy cob, ive been paying someone £15 to do, ibut the last time my poor little mare had lots of little cuts on her, so now im thinking of investing in my own... which ones are best!

has anyone heard of GTS Clippers? are they any good? ive just found a pair on ebay brand new for £100! says they are heavy duty i just havent heard of the make before....
 
Heiniger all the way. I have the progress ones, they are very easy to handle, powerful and just perform brilliantly. Not extortionate either.

Ditto have the cordless and Heiniger make clippers that is perfect for anything hairy,and swiss made so well constructed!
 
Hi, I have the Lister Neon - they are great on my horse who has a very fine coat. They also have a wrist strap attached which is handy when avoiding flying legs around the tickly bits
