Clipping a horse on box rest

Sounds crazy but we’re reaching about 15c at the moment and pony is in on box rest in a wooden stable which seems to be very cosy! Thinking of doing some sort of smaller clip to keep him a bit cooler, what would you recommend? He’s normally fully clipped when in worked. Then on second thoughts not sure as he is casting... hm

Personally I wouldn't bother as it will likely get colder again and he is shedding anyway.

But the beauty of horse ownership is that you can do your own thing.

I fully bathed my horse this morning. I think many people would have said not to (only 7 degrees) but she was scruffy with grease and I wanted to - so I did!

He wasn’t sweating but just very hot to the touch on the shoulder/chest more than usual.

My thoughts were just up the chest and neck. Maybe shoulder too. I’ll see how he is today. I’ve opened every window in the house and set up the clothes line in the garden! What is going on lol
