Clipping already?!

Am I the only one to be considering clipping already?!

2 of mine have already begun growing winter coats! Its crazy but Im thinking of giving the one I compete a hunter clip! He's still eventing and obviously I dont want him to get hot since we still *might* get some nice warm days....

Cant believe Im even thinking about it in early August. Am I the only one?!

Was umming about doing mine this week, but he isnt actually that bad. Will be before too long I imagine, he is malting already....

I'm not doing it just yet but I swear Jim has started to grow his winter coat. If the weather stays warm & he grows much more then I'll probably be looking at the end of August!

I clipped mine beginning of june, and it has grown back, i am tempted to do it again esp if this warm weather is here to stay as she was dripping in sweat today when i rode her

Thanks people - Since a lot of you clearly dont think Im crazy for clipping, I just did clip one of mine! He did look a tad surprised though I must say, as if to say "that time of year already?!"

I usually clip out all summer, haven't this year as his summer coat grew threw very finely so I left it. He has a winter coat coming now though, I can't believe it!

Mine has been moulting for a couple of weeks. I didn't see him yesterday, and by today he seems to have got his winter jacket on! I reckon he's about four weeks earlier than usual.
