have any of you got before andvafter pics of your clipped collies?? and how they looked when their hair grew back?

iv got a border collie cross whos got thick curly hair, i took her to a grooming parlour and she looks like shes been butchered!! the 1st time i took her some where else she looked amazing so i guess they just didnt know what they were doing.
But what with the hot weather im thinking of just taking the coat off completly, just worried she will look weired, plus shes white and tan and im worried she might get sun burn on her white bits....

can u give me and advice!!?? love to see pics of your shaved pooches!

Used to clip my border collie and he looked lovely. Bought clippers and did it ourselves.Took the coat all off and he was much more comfortable.

I clip our border collie, Sid-

you cant really tell in this pic, it was taken a couple of weeks ago. I clip him every month, with my horse clippers, but hold the blades away from him so he isn't completely scalped!
He's an outdoor guard dog anyway (only comes in if dad's out!) so does appreciate a bit of coat being laft on. He has a rug for winter when it's cold. He's farm bred, and quite chunky- not like these finer, 'indoor' collies I see alot of- so i think that is what contributes to him having such a thick coat.
