Clipping Help

Heya! Don't know if anyone has the same... But has anyone experienced after clipping (month after) horse's hair goes very rough/coarse? If anyone has this same problem, what can you put on it/do to make it go smooth again?? Thanks 😊

After a month you will have a fair amount of regrowth at this time of year, it may be best to clip again as their coats have been very late this year, mine will all be redone in the next few weeks which should then be the last time this winter, if very rough in texture feeding oil or linseed may help and making sure they are not getting too cold so pushing through a dense coat in order to stay warm, it has been very tricky this year as it has been so warm so they have not needed rugging so much.
