Clipping leg lines - Tips please!

I'm going to be clipping my pony soon, he will be getting a full clip (minus head and legs) but the thing I always struggle with is getting the clip lines looking good and at the right angle at the top of the legs.

Does anyone have any tips for me please?

Follow the muscle . It should guide you round

Front legs - clip up one small notch at the elbow, then from that go in one smooth stroke along the muscle line. Keeping the clippers in the same position in your hand, clip forward one clipper width from the front of the muscle so it goes into a point at the top of the muscle.

Backs - clip up one small notch from the back of the leg at the muscle line, then clip forward one smooth stroke to the stifle. Never go lower than the stifle.

Always do one fast smooth motion rather that lots of small cuts, and always go higher than you want as you can always take more off, but you can't put it on!

It has already been said about how to follow the muscle line in one stroke etc, but my tip would be- if it looks acceptable then leave it ! I always get a decent line that could be better, I then make it look terrible by trying to improve it and end up clipping the lot off

How many times have I done just this! Had intentions of giving daughter's shetland cross a blanket clip, and ended up with a hunter clip - and nearly had to go for full.

I'm rubbish at getting the lines on back legs right, I don't think I clip low enough.

I am okay at doing the front leg lines but backs I find highly traumatic! I just never get it right. So am looking forward to the pics to show us how to do it.

Anyone got tips how to get a straight line on a chaser clip? Mine differs from side to side (not a problem really, no-one sees both sides at the same time) but wavers when he moves/lowers or raises his head. I have tried chalk lines but they wobble too
