clipping on monday......currently has a

take it all off as your horse is only going to start moulting soon and it saves getting hair everywhere!:D

I'm another one who would take it all off.

If not I would do a blanket or a 3Beasties special :D

I wouldn't clip now. Will ruin the summer coat. All the horses at ours have started moulting which is a definite sign it's too late to clip unless you are going to take it all off.

I definitly wouldn't

I would take it all off, depends on the horse/where you are but none of the horses at my yard have started growing their summer coats through yet.

I clipped on Tuesday. It snowed last night! :(

Not showing signs of moulting, but its getting hot and itchy when working......and is sweating a lot! not showing this year as is being broken/schooled so not to fussed re summer coat....

Thanks guys you've helped me make my mind up. Having just been given all clear to start riding again following surgery (me not horse) I have been wondering what to do about this as horse my has been turned away since end-November and is now starting to come back into work the woolly bear is getting hot & sweaty very quickly. So, I think its going to be a case of "off with the coat" . No signs of shedding winter coat and weather here (Bucks) has not been cold so I don't think summer coat has started to make an appearence yet.
