My horse was clipped around October time (left face & legs on) I rushed it at the time & it was pretty messy! However I intended to go back over it with the clippers but the weather was so severe & I wasn't riding her as inch so never bothered. Now, I have shoes coming up over the next couple of months & was contemplating doing a full clip now but after looking at her tonight her summer cost is coming through & it looks smooth & glossy, the clip lines in her legs etc are beginning to blend but there are some 'choppy bits' over her body. What's for the best? Clip it all off or leave it to grown out?

Thanks ;)

Leave it to grow out, you'll ruin the summer coat otherwise.
The tufty and chopping bits will come out eventually, give the warm weather a few more weeks.

I wouldn't dream of clipping a horse out now as it will ruin the summer coat, unless you are going to clip out all year round.

Had same dilemma and clipped out fully on Saturday. Have event next Saturday. If event had been 2/3 weeks away would have left it.
