We have three breeds of dog that require regular clipping, standard poodle, lhasa apso and a lurcher with soft downy coat.. We have invested in several sets of whal clippers from argos but none can cope with the dogs coats.

We also have Lister horse clippers and again despite sharp blades none are coping. Any suggestions? TIA

Wahl are a waste of money, I would get a pair of Osters, they are expensive
but it sounds like you will get your money's worth especially having a poodle.
Also make sure the coats are bathed before you clip no clippers will go through
a dirty coat.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, seen theres a huge choice of blades too, will be well worth the investment. Any recomendations as to which model is best?
