Sorry I did post a few days ago with no replies so thought I would try again and hope some of you wonderful people can help me :)

(although my husband says there is no help for me!!!)

I have just bought a Moody Mare stencil, and before I clip was wondering do you clip on to one side of bottom or both?, or individual preference?, I would think both so can be seen from both sides but would that just be mean to let the whole world know ;)

Anyone tried a stencil before and know how long it takes?, with 2 kids, 4 dogs and one of those in pup:o, 2 ponies, a horse and a husband working away time management is very important :)

Thanks in advance for any replies, would offer roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings but taking kids out for lunch to have an afternoon off from cooking :), so will have to think of something else!.

In regards to which side, it's up to you. I normally do both sides.
It normally takes me 20-35mins to do one, but I normally do the stencil first then clip the rest off the next day.

I have never used a stencil but do freehand various things, stars, bows, tribal patterns etc. I'm usually a symmetry freak (due to OCD) but think it is personal preference with this sort of thing. I particularly like the stencil on the opposite side to the mane if that helps!

I do the stencil first then the rest - if you are full clipping leave at least 2.5 hours if you have a stencil to do too.
