Any tips for doing between the front legs? I was horrified as I nicked a horse under their yesterday when clipping. I always have the front legs pulled forward to do behind the elbows and am careful around the stifles but find the chest area a bit fiddly to do and if the horse has wrinkly skin it’s even harder. I’ve started using my trimmers on the sensitive bits as I just find them a bit kinder and a bit more forgiving. The blades are sharp and brand new so I know it’s me and not the clippers but I did feel bad.

Any tips to prevent this happening again? Thanks

I've got a thinned skinned tb and I've caught him there. I now change from my big heienger explorers to my trimmers to do that bit. I know the hair length is different but I'd rather that than nick him again!!
