I know a few people have posted about clipping their cobs in summer, but my lad is a warmblood X. He's a headshaker (which is pollen related) but this also seems to be worse when he gets too hot and sweaty so I have thought about clipping him, but I don't want him to look silly!! He's dark bay and soaks up the heat, on hot days he's been sweating before we've even started any work. He's only got two white socks and a blaze so not too worried about his body getting sun burnt. Does anyone else with WB or TB's clip in summer, do they look really obviously clipped??

A fellow livery gives her WB a full clip all the year round because he is so woolly. You'd never know he was clipped in summer - in fact it just makes him look normal! :p

ETA: he's bay btw
