Clipping, what blades?!

Just debating whether to clip my boy with fine blades today, he's not hairy as such, just needs a tidy up, but concerned he may go "pink" on his white bits!

So who uses what blades?

I use either Coarse or Medium blades (even with Medium blades my Piebald ends up pink & black)!!!

Lol! Ok, thanks, I usually use medium blades, but brought some fine ones for the finer coated horses I clip and wandered if they would give a neater finish....may stick to medium then!!

On my bay I use fine blades, gives a nice clean smart finish & the dapples on his bum, which are only visible when clipped, really show out. You may need medium on your coloured though because of the 'pink' issue.

I have always used fine blades on mine, but not clipped a coloured with them, would think the white bits would go very pink as such a close clip, maybe better safe than sorry. athough he may suit pink....

Bugger, will save for clipping others then and clip my own with the medium blades....he would not like pink!! And if it is too close you can see where Ive used my spur as he goes very pink

So prob best not to make him too short!!
