I've previously blanket clipped my Horse with half head off. I have recently moved him to a new yard which is more exposed...but does have a field shelter. He lives out and has a combo rug on when clipped. With this in mind I think I'm going to adapt a chaser clip for him. A fairly shallow line up from the stifle then curving it up with whole neck off (his neck is where he sweats up the most). However, I want to leave his whole head on. Has anyone got a picture (not a sketch) of how to blend a fully clipped neck into an unclipped head??

No pics, but I clip my horse similar. I follow around the back of the jaw line and take underneath jaw (down to bottom of chin) off leaving rest of head unclipped. Mine lives out all winter no problems.

I've done this before on other people's horses and it looks fine. Running the clippers up the jaw makes all the difference, looks wise (and that area often gets quite sweaty too so it's easier to have it clipped) but leaves most of the hair on for protection.

Found a couple of my old chap who lived out and was competed so I left his head on, unfortunatlely he is looking at the camera so you can't see!!!!

Same really I would tidy under the jaw as he lived out then I would leave cheek full then clip the neck around the top of the jaw line with a straight line up behind where the headcollar sits.
