Clipping?

Is it too early to clip? ellie is sooo hairy already despite having a rug on, I dont want to take her dressage on sunday looking all fury

lmao, just i dont want to have to be putting two heavy weight rugs on her in the winter when it is a couple of months down the line :/ hmm, What you doing clipping now or leaving it for a bit longer?

Loads of horses on my yard are already clipped and have been for weeks. ill be leaving mine as long as i can, but he is getting so sweaty when i ride its going to have to come off sharpish

nope coat change is governed by the length of the days so most horses have changed coats by now even though its so warm have clipped plenty of hairy beasts already
