Can anyone recommend a good pair of clippers which I can pick up for 100 or under? I don't mind if they are corded or cordless, but i would prefer it if they were reasonably quiet as horsey is a sensitive chap!!

any suggestions?

Wahl Artiko clippers are fantastic - Ive had mine for about 5 years now and they're really lightweight and quiet. You can also just slot the blade onto the clippers so no need to worry about tensioning etc.

Think they retail about £100ish but the blades are a bit dearer than your average set but
I've not had to replace anything yet, although I would suggest only getting the blades sharpened by Wahl as our local blade sharpener people knackered the ceramic set coz they didnt know what to do with them. The ceramic blade has done about 10 hunter clips on not overly clean neddies before blunting. Hope that helps!

I bought my clippers from Clippersharp in devon, when i spoke to the lady there they were very helpful, definately worth phoning them as its an expensive item to get wrong, (which i nearly did!)
