not usually until january for my tb mare but shes got tummy fluff already!?!! ahhhh! so im giving it a month then it may have to come off.
mind you, i have been rather relaxed with rugging this year and shes lived out 24/7 for the first time we've had her in 5 years (she used to jump in if it rained...yes!..she did it at college - a hospital stay and £2500 vet bill, little madamme)

yeah getting my horse fit for hunting, getting very sweaty...coat is coming through....personally i think its too early but....then i do know people who clip all year

Had to take my 2's necks and shoulders off already, sweating badly when ridden and both were very fluffy. Dont usually have to touch until October.

I normally clip at the end of October but my TB girlies don't grow much coat, its just makes it easier to cool them off after work
