Pony has a thicker summer coat than usual which is a shame so she will need to be clipped as she is a sweaty pony.

So the question is, I want a clip that is more than a bib clip more blanket clip sort of style but want to keep her girth area. Any suggestions of a clip that would suit which looks sensible enough for WH :D
 
I don't know of a 'named' clip that is what u want but u cud just do a bigger area than a normal bib clip. Take more of the neck off.

Why do u want to keep the girth area? I find its that area that gets the sweatiest.
 
I would love to be able to clip everything off but i really worry as she does sometimes get rubbed by the girth hence wanting to keep the hair there ( i have tried many and yet to find one that dosnt slip/rub she has a very forward girth groove), also she is turned out 24/7 so full clip i wouldnt be great and I want something more than a bib as I usually bib clip but it wasnt really enough.

I just have yet to picture something that wouldnt look too silly, shes only shown at local level as she is usually a SJ pony.
 
Wouldn't sweaty hair under the girth be more likely to cause rubbing? I'd go with a sheepskin cover or is there a gel sleeve you could get? My boy always got rubbed by his nose band and a gel pad under that has stopped it happening, I'm sure there must be something similar for girths?
 
I would just full clip - I do this in the summer with mine. Then get a sheepskin it other padded girth sleeve if you're worried it'll rub
