Wondering if anyone turns out clipped horses or ponies 24/7? Obviously not full clips and rugged accordingly. Thanks in advance ;-)

Yes I do and will continue to do so. My ponies are rugged to their needs, fed plenty of forage and have access to field shelters.

My gelding is full clipped (legs and head on) he is rugged accordingly and has ad lib hay. He has lived out 24/7 for years.

Mines wintering out for 1st time & I normally fully clip when he's been in at night, he is a poor doer & not in as much work as prev years so I went for a part clip now he's living out, been well rugged & coped fine. However now spring is on the way I will whip the lot off(except legs) in a week or 2 as the unclipped bit sports probably the thickest coat ever seen on a TB & there's no way I'm grooming all that out!!!
