Wondering what clippers to use for my heavy weight cob who has a very thick coat in the winter. Need something to give him a long lasting clip! At the moment his hair grows back so fast and it’s annoying!

Umm... The type/make of clippers isn't going to determine how fast his coat grows back. Use a standard set of blades and you'll get a standard length left behind! If his coat is thick you'll need a heavy weight set, but which ones you get depends on your budget.
FYI I have Lister Liberties and I use standard blades, or covercote blades, all through the year.
