... until this afternoon. My friend's horse is being pts. I have looked after him every morning, Monday to Friday for over 3 years and of course I will be there to support her and be as strong as I can - she gave him 6 wonderful years at the end of his life, but the time has come....

Just hate that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. Sorry all - pointless post but needed to write something down. They break your heart, don't they? x

Yet it is the kindest thing we can do for our old friends, to know when the time has come to say goodbye.
