Not a great day. :(

My guys were lucky and got away with custs and bruises. My friends horses were out in the field as only two stables. Its her stables and shes gutted. Its stood for years and never moved even during thos 165mph winds we had last months but this was vicious here last night, the amount of damage it shocking :(

K was stuck until we could clear all the debris away but E had burst out probably when the wind and roof crashed into the door, Im amazed she hasnt done herself injury as what she would have had to walk/jump over was just hell, nails, broken rivets, glass, the roofing sheets.

So maybe somone was kinda smiling just couldnt give me the whole hog. Thoughts for my friend please as she is truly gutted

Blimmin eck - what lucky horses, I think the damage was worse yesterday because of the gustyness (not sure if that is a real word). Was the trailer damaged too?

Holy cricket! I think you *definitely* need to put the lottery on tonight!

Glad everyone okay though. Feel awful for your friend, not really what you need to start a new year! :(

Oh dear God!!! Thats not what you want to find when you go to the yard in the morning! So glad that your neds are ok, I think mine would have had complete breakdowns had that happened to them!
My heart really does go out to your friend, it must be absolutely gutting to have your buildings destroyed like that! Will she be able to re-build, or is it a knock down and start again job?

What an awful shock for you and youur friend. I'm glad your horses are okay as they must have been frightened with that going on. A lucky escape:eek:

Those photos are incredible. I'm amazed that the horse of yours that got out didn't injure himself on the debris. Really lucky escape for both of them.

HR I was amazed as well at the lack of injuries my horses suffered (thank the powers that be!!) And I don't think anyone would have believed me that my horses had come through that without the pics. I myself would have been sceptical.

As someone said the angels were out in force xx
