I've been out all day enjoying the marvellous Spring-like weather. There are literally rivers ALL over the farm - the Melt has started!! Yaay!

Anyway my camera hasn't been on an outside trip for a couple of months now so I felt it was probably due some fresh air. I took some piccies of Cloud about an hour ago. Megan had plaited her all up and she looked super-cool with her big tubby baby pushing her belly outwards.

Anyway, here is the little sweetheart 26 days from her due date. I think she is looking really well, but then I am awfully biased where this little pony is concerned 'cos I just love her

Tia she does indeed look great. Tell 'Megaribbon' that the plaits are really cool!!!!

Are we going to have a text chain for Cloud as well?
 
Aww thank you. Meg will be really happy you said that as she wanted her to look really "girlie" and nice in the photos....bless her.

Nah no text chain as I think Cloud will just drop the foal with no fuss whatsoever (at least that is what I am hoping

) ....... that AND the fact that I am 5 hours behind you so it might be a bit of a loony time of the morning to text.

Cloud's teats are well on their way now and I actually think she will be a couple of days early - no idea why but I just think this. She's a no-fuss little pony so I think she will just get the job done quickly and efficiently.

Cloud is only a squidgey little 12.2hh but I adore her.

Mais oui! I love my Dubarry's - they must be about 4 or 5 years old now - still look good as new even though they have been threw more cr4p than most marriages!!

lol .... was hoping and am still hoping to get dubarrys for my birthday :P from dh possibly along with a nice digital camera :P ... not looking much i promise ... Both gee gees are gorgeous ... what a cute little foalie your gona have . ( should i say cloud :P )

What size are you hoping for from the foal and will he/she be a coloured? I'm not very good on horse genetics lol about the closest I got was when I used to breed gerbils and now I breed my ferrets they seem to have no genetic pattern on colouring or even size lol.
Both look great though and Cloud is blooming x

Cloud is only 12.2hh and Ezzy is about 15hh (although genetically he should have made 15.2hh but he broke his neck when he was 9 months old and it seriously stunted his growth because he was so ill) so I am hoping that the foal will make around 14hh.

Cloud has cancer and this was a one-shot deal. Her foal will be with us till the end of her days (it's a filly, I'm convinced!) so I had no qualms about breeding a mongrel.

Yes Tia, I can TOTALLY vouch that Cloud should have been 14.2hh and also is one of the nicest ponies I have ever met in my life. She completely suffered having Benjy sitting on her shouting "gee up" and whatever else he uttered without batting an eyelid

If that is you, you look nothing like I expected you would!!
 
I did the colour genetics and there is a 56% chance that the foal will be a grey/white Tobiano....then 18% that it would be either bay roan or bay Tobiano. There is a VERY slim chance (5%) that it won't be coloured......I don't really care to be honest; I just want a healthy Mummy at the end of it and hopefully a super little foal.

He's about 15hh. He's my boy! He loves his Mummy and I think he is pretty special too.
 
I haven't posted anything about Cloud for ages because I was hoping that Hannah would hurry up and have the excitement she deserves.....however on pondering it further; I thought that just wasn't possible; because even I am sooooo excited to see Hannah's elusive colt!!

You definately don't look like I would have thought!! Not sure why I even thought you would look a certain way! It is in a good way! From reading about your childrens ages I thought you would be older! Or maybe you are and you just look young!!
 
Yes I did!! It said Cloud is going to have a filly, Golden (the bred palomino) is going to have a colt, the gelding is not having anything and the barren mare is also not having anything. I double checked it on Cloud and the palomino and still said the same thing.

Interestingly though - I tried it on the stallion this morning and it did move.....but just a little and not in any direction really.....maybe it was just the wind
