Yes they are the vets that most people at my yard use - including me.
Personally I haven't had many dealings with them - all they've done is microchip and vaccinate my boy but they've been out for a few other or the liveries for things like colic etc and everyone seems to think highly of them and the facilities and staff at the vet school are supposed to be fantastic.
I have used them for years, top notch. very caring and knowledgable. Any time i have called in an emergency, they have been quick to attend. They also have a state of the art horsepital and Andrew Mcdermid is one of the best and most respected equine vets in the country.
Andrew McDairmid was brilliant when my horse tweaked a suspensory and my own vet referred us to Clyde group. He gave a detailed back-to-work programme and 2 years on from there the horse is still (touch wood!!) perfectly sound
I registered with them a while ago, because they were highly recommended by friends. It cost £75 to register with them, but this amount comes off your first bill. Only used them for vacs so far but I'm pleased so far.
They are very very good vets. we were referred there with our horse who was in for a fortnight getting investigations into lameness and a subsequent operation. The staff were excellent, much preferred it to the Bush
Andrew McDiarmid is one of the best vets in Scotland IMO. Can't recommend him highly enough. My friend who has a stud uses them for all their stud work, another friend uses them for all her horses. If your horse was in their hands you wouldn't need to worry about the standard of care.
