hi there........for those who are interested/remember.........
I have had a real struggle with this old horse of my neighbours.
Things are on the up - after 2 strong doses of wormer and a course of antibiotics the front legs are looking pretty good and the back legs are improving. Its been tough trying to get things cleared up when the old horse stands in a wet field! arghhhhhhh! I helped the owner clear out his barn so we could get him in for a fortnight or so but we realised that the barn wasn't suitable for such a big horse - low pipes and stuff.
I think the frustrating thing for me has been trying to manage the elderly owner! if the horse was mine im confident that i could have had this cleared up weeks ago. as it is im stuck with waiting for the owner to get hold of the treatments etc......

anyway fingers crossed!

Hope all goes well with him - big old horses and this weather are not a great mix. Old Cairo is very stiff in the mornings but does work through with gentle exercise.

Hope the P&S helped with the legs.

He is a lucky old chap to have you come and help care for him - this breed is one of the best.

OOooo, send him to me!!!! i'll sort him out, dont expect him back tho! he he!
