To say buying my lorry was filled with a little misfortune would be a rather large understatement.

After it staying at the mechanics for near 2 months fixing it so that the engine wouldnt blow up we got it back last week (

).

So we took it out on friday for some xc schooling and one of the hinges has come off a top door (its a 3.5 tonner and its one of the doors above the side ramp).

So here is my question; Can someone point me towards a (trustworthy) coachbulder that can check over the build and reattach the top door. It isnt a big job but it worries me that with its 1st use a door can come off its hinges!

I should have taken it back (i know) but its a bit of a long story to do with the mechanics and accepting monney rah did rah. So thats not an option.

Thankyou for your help!!!!

Bonita,

Charlton Horseboxes are in Wiltshire which isn't too far from you.
01793 840567.
They are building my 6.5T at the moment. They mainly coachbuild new boxes but at least they are fairly local to you and they know what they are doing.

fab thanks blossom, will find them and give them a call.

thanks ttt but im sure we can prob find someone closer, wiltshire is the wrong side for us. Thanks though.

Olympic are in Didcot. Very helpful, quite happy to do body work on lorries other than their own and I think were competitively priced for that kind of work - would love to afford their lorries but no way!! Standard of work was v good with some little extras done at the same time no charge. Just bit embarrasing pulling in next to all the big shiny ones!!

Oooh, that's interesting to know. I had a, umm, err, 'little accident' with Folara's lovely lovely shiny lorry.

It now needs a new skirt one side and the decal replacing.
